Branded With Purpose – Creating Real Jobs for Neurodivergent Australians

Why We Exist

At Better Merch, we are a social enterprise that believe your branded products should do more than just look good - they should do good.

We're a purpose-built social enterprise that exists to create meaningful, scalable employment for neurodivergent, long-term unemployed, and rural Australians. We do this through a tech-enabled merchandising platform designed with process-led roles, automation, and structure - making it ideal for individuals who thrive with clarity, repetition, and flexibility.

The unemployment rate for neurodivergent Australians remains unacceptably high. Not because of a lack of talent, but because traditional workplaces aren’t built with them in mind. We’re here to change that.

By embedding inclusive employment into the merchandise industry, we’re proving that a business can deliver great products and greater impact.

We don’t just create merchandise -
we create employment pathways.

Our Model

Our Vision

• Process-Driven Roles: Our workflow is broken into repeatable tasks across design, order processing, content creation, fulfilment, and admin.
• Remote-Ready: We support regional and hybrid work with digital infrastructure and visual workflows.
• Eco-First: We champion sustainable merchandise, helping reduce waste in Australia’s $2.3B promotional products industry.
• Scalable: From 50 to 50,000 units, we handle projects of every size while embedding purpose at every step.

To employ 15 neurodivergent Australians within three years, collaborate with suppliers who share our values, and scale a national model of inclusive employment - powered by real work, real products, and real outcomes.

We are proud to already employ Cody, our first team member, who was previously unemployed for over 8 years. With the right support, Cody is now thriving - and we’re just getting started.
